Images of Rosendale, our beloved town, by Staats Fasoldt and Walter
Earl will be shown at the Rosendale Cafe in December 2007.
There will be an opening reception on Sunday December 9th 2-4pm where
you can meet the artists.
Walter is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park
and a digital artist. He has been do***enting Rosendale for many
years.
Staats Fasoldt is an artist who teaches at The Woodstock School of Art.
Staats has also been recording the town in paint.
Some years ago Staats and Walter created a art web site called Garbanzo
Aphids, still there today, ( http://www.hapfam.com/banzo/index.htm)
which includes an interactive Rosendale Map.
You can click your way around the town and see what's going on within
some of those interesting neighborhoods. We said then that some day we
would do
a show together with the art from the Garbanzo, this show will be more
recent work, but it fulfills the pact.
