No weird lawn thingy for the new Southeast Community Center. Instead,
its public art will be five pieces inside the Swope Park center.
Designed by Julia Cole and Leigh Rosser, they include interactive
displays and a rotating Wave Maker that is triggered by people walking
below. Park officials say they're a steal at $85,000.
