Smooth-on stopoff

by Dan S <archicast@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 3, 2008 at 10:18 PM

If you should be driving around the northeast and are a user of
moldmaking rubber, you might want to do as I did and stop in Easton, PA
to go to Smooth-On. They are very close to the highway between
Harrisburg PA and New York City, I-78.
Easton basically has fireworks and Binney & Smith (Crayola) but
overlooking the highway is Smooth-On. Easton is the first exit as you
leave New Jersey. Go north, bear right through a funky neighborhood, and
turn right on St John's St, and it's at the end. There are some small
signs posted.
They don't let you tour the place but they have a few large projects in
their 2-level lobby. I visited with a tech guy in the lobby while they
filled my order.
Really, with the price of freight, it was smart to do this. And I got a
gallon of the good sealer they sell which is hazardous to ****p (= big
fees.) They throw in a bag of dvd's and samples.
